About Me

I have more than 25 years of senior management experience in the media industry both in the UK and overseas, and have worked for every type of business, from my own-start-up, to private equity, to multi-national public companies.

What distinguishes my experience is the range of different businesses I have led. I have worked in general management since launching my own magazine business at the age of 27. I have been responsible for major national brands in B2C and B2B media, ranging from the Guardian and The Observer, to the NME and In Style, and now the British Medical Journal and its associated businesses. I have launched digital services, exhibitions, events and magazines; run corporate planning for a fast-growing plc; headed acquisitions and disposals for major corporations, and led integration teams on acquired businesses. I have chaired businesses based in London, Paris, Sydney and Houston.
